The Commercial team is responsible for building up and maintaining Grab’s portfolio of merchant partners for Grab’s delivery business and establish long term strategic partnerships that brings value to Grab’s ecosystem.
This ecosystem encompasses our millions of users, driver-partners and business partners.
This ecosystem cuts across our GrabCar, GrabFood, Deliveries and our Everyday App platforms.
The fundamental objective of the team is to achieve top line commercial objectives for Grab Malaysia.

Get to know the role :
Commercial planning & forecasting by looking at various revenue drivers across Grab Malaysia’s business areas.
Steer commercials in terms of commercial deal structure, funding model and innovative collaboration models with merchant and partners
Steer the commercial team in terms of setting and monitoring performance metrics for our programs and collaborations with merchants & partners
Plan medium to long term strategy for Grab’s various businesses in Malaysia, considering the competitive landscape
Generate actionable insights leveraging available data for all Grab’s commercial programs
Work with marketing and operations team to optimize program rollouts
Experience in commercial strategy / planning or strategy consulting is required
Ability to engage external parties & potential merchants / partner at most senior level is a big plus.
Candidate will be required to be agile and think critically to structure programs that will add value to Grab and the Strategic Partner.
Candidate should be able to multi-task and manage multiple projects during a specific time-frame.
Candidate will be required to have good internal and external stakeholdership; constantly managing expectations and providing regular updates to ensure the initiative is constantly moving forward.
The day-to-day activities :
Work closely with Head of Commercials and various business vertical heads to drive overall commercial agenda.
Engage with wider Commercial team that consist of Grab’s merchant team, enterprise team, strategic partnership & business development team.
The must haves :
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in commercial strategy / planning or strategy consulting is required.
