TO provide technical expertise for the operation of SAP BO platform, and to support the day-to-day BAU supports & incidents.
The BO administrator is required to provide the following roles :
Act as SME & operational support team from TN3.
To involve in BO performance tuning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Managing user / group access right permissions.
System health monitoring.
Provides training appropriate to expertise level to other personnel and customers as required.
Data validation against source systems
Perform software installation on BO server (including patch / upgrade / add-on / service packs etc).
Troubleshoot reporting issues raised on all platforms BOD, BOS, BOP).
Troubleshoot system support issues on all platforms (BOD, BOS, BOP) inclusive run time error, performance issues, etc.
Escalate issues to vendors (SAP) for software limitations / restrictions and bugs.
Perform system health checks prior / post changes introduced on the server (based on activity requested by Basis, Network teams).
Perform services restoration and bring back system to normalcy during system unavailability (reduce system downtime).
Perform BO transport jobs from BOD >
Participate and contribute to BO Disaster Recovery Plan.
Acts as a support resource for the technical support staff to ensure that customer-reported issues are being addressed in an efficient and accurate manner.
Serves as a liaison with database and Basis administrators, developers and vendors (if needed) to assist in resolving problems with systems.
