Lead and drive business development activities to increase demand (bookings) and supply (drivers) for all verticals(Transport & Food) within the geographical location.
Maintain and grow partner and client relationship
Lead and manage service enquiries and dispute resolution within the geographical location
Responsible for business growth, profitability and P&Ls management. This includes develop, oversee the operating / growth plan, marketing plan, budgets and responsible for overall city management
Identify opportunities to improve online / offline product, focus on customer-centric initiatives roll out to improve customer experience and to drive user acquisition / growth and engagement.
Proactively collaborate with local teams.
Hire and develop a high-calibre local team
Responsible for monitoring and improving overall city marketplace performance. This includes building processes to monitor real-
time activities on the ground, and implementing operational fixes to improve reliability. Proactive collaboration with local Driver Operations teams as well as country teams and product teams to improve the overall driver experience & manage local team for on ground operational work
The Must Haves
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Management Consulting, P&L ownership roles, general management, financial services industries, or Business Development.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of Chinese language and other local dialects will be advantageous
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Able to both lead at high level and willing to be hands on as needed and proactively assume responsibilities and ownership.
Prior leadership experience a plus
Enjoy working in a fast growing environment
Responsible, self motivated and possess good team spirit
Ability to maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing and ambiguous environment.
Must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Business Studies / Administration / Management or equivalent
