As a Xeon+FPGA Programmable Acceleration Verification Engineer, you will have an integral role in designing, verifying, and delivering innovative Xeon+FPGA accelerator architectures that deliver higher levels of performance, energy-
efficiency, and value that form the computing backbone of the connected world. In this position, you will be a member of the Xeon + FPGA platform verification team in Intel's Programmable Solutions Group (PSG).
You will be responsible for verifying the FPGA platform logic connected to Xeon processors using Intel’s latest FPGA technologies.
These platforms include coherently attached FPGAs and discrete FPGA accelerator cards running Intel’s open-source OPAE FPGA software acceleration stack.
Solutions built on this technology cover genomics, deep-learning, data analytics, network function virtualization, and other fast-growing areas.
This role includes : Authoring test plans, defining coverage strategies, developing and analyzing coverage monitors, writing architectural and micro-
architectural correctness checkers, developing BFMs Bus Functional models, running functional simulations, debugging failures to root cause issues, and maintaining and enhancing the verification infrastructure and tools.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record of taking initiative and driving projects to completion, strong communication skills and ability to influence and work across large teams.
Minimum Qualifications : BS or MS in EE, CS, or Computer Engineering7+ years of hands-on experience and a track-record of success in logic verification.
4+ years of experience of SystemVerilog OVM / UVM including testbench, environment, and agent creation, functional coverage, and assertions.
5 years of experience of verification architecture and infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with computer architecture
Experience with I / O protocols including PCIe, Ethernet, and memory interconnect technologies.
Experience with UPI coherence on x86 and knowledge of other coherency architectures.
