DESCRIPTION This is a senior sales role and includes a sales responsibility for appointed accounts with a strong focus on business development and sales growth The role is based in Penang Malaysia or home office in the region reports to the Director of Global Sales and implies no line management responsibilities The role also implies close cooperation and coordination with Managing Director of our production site in Penang Malaysia WORK TASKS Define clear sales strategies for all appointed accountsDevelop trust relationships with appointed accounts to ensure they do not turn to competitionAcquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirementsExpand the relationships with existing and new customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectivesEnsure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely mannerServe as the link of communication between key customers and internal teamsResolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trustProspect for new clients by networking cold calling advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clientsPlay an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-

lasting relationshipsPrepare regular reports of progress including meeting reports and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics Screens potential business by analyzing market strategies deal requirements potential and financials evaluating options resolving internal priorities REQUIREMENTS Minimum 5 years of sales experienceBSc BA in business administration sales or relevant fieldMinimum 8 years experience in global industrial or consumer electronics companiesExcellent organizational skillsAbility and minimum 2 years experience in international businessBasic understanding of legal business matters and is expected to proactively highlight legal risksStrong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levelsGood communication skills in English Other languages are beneficialExperience with plastic injection molding die cut converting label is preferredGood mechanical aptitude and knowledge Able to travel frequently local overseas ACCOUNTABILITY The role is measured specifically on Sales growth within appointed accountsProfit growth within appointed accounts
