Operations (Includes key technical responsibilities)
Gather timely and accurate information to ensure date integrity in all transaction. Make follow-up for additional research and to ensure data completeness and accuracy, as necessary.
Independently monitor and act on incoming information in a timely fashion. Request and obtain supporting information to meet the various state guidelines.
Obtain and ensure claim data associated with the state reporting requirements is current in system. Create correspondence to obtain necessary information.
Complete all data entry necessary to fulfill regulatory requirements.
Required Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge and previous claims experience in General insurance preferred but not essential. Experience in Business Process Outsourcing / Shared Services environment would be an added advantage.
Familiarity with both Worker’s Comp and Casualty claims are a plus.
Minimum Knowledge & Skills
Good communication skills with fluency in written and verbal English. Computer literate and a proficient user of MS Office applications, especially on MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to comprehend correspondence in English. Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Ability to produce a quality product in a high production environment.
Strong attention to detail that prevents fines and penalties from being assessed. Flexibility and the ability to work within an evolving environment.
Must be willing to work non-regular / shift hours.
