Microelectronic Quality Reliability Engineers provide project management, product, process design / development and sustaining support for integrated circuit or semiconductor assemblies, various other electronic components, sub systems and / or completed units.
Responsible for physical understanding, model prediction and enhancement of quality & reliability for advanced products, transistor, interconnect, assembly / package and testing process.
Defines Si / assembly / package qualification requirement and responsible for product qualification or technology certification.
Defines / develops and conducts stress tests, DFX requirements and research on individual technology components as well as integrated circuit / products.
Develop cost effective production monitoring and screening schemes to ensure process is stable and products meet committed quality & reliability performance.
oDegree / Master / Ph D in Electrical or Electronics engineering, Computer engineering, or other related fields of study with prior relevant work experience
oBachelor's degree or with a Master's degree with preferred skills / experience (3-5years) in the understanding of semiconductor device physics, logic design, design for test, computer architecture, digital / analog circuits is strongly desired
oWillingness with hands-on work, specifically implementing test programs or using tester platforms to perform content debug and validation is a plus
oProgramming experience in one / more language : C / C++, Perl, Python, Java, VB, etc. strongly desired
oStrong debug and data analysis skills using tools like JMP5 Understanding of high volume manufacturing flows and automation is a plus
oAbility to work independently at various levels of abstraction
oStrong analytical ability and problem solving skills
oAbility to work effectively with both internal and external teams / customers is expected
oStrong written and verbal communication skills
