Job DescriptionPrimary Purpose and FunctionTo be responsible for the management of space planning for all SKUs in the categories ensuring that sales, profits and inventory target are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilitiesa) Initiate, update and maintain planograms for all categories in Guardian ensuring sales and profit are optimizedand inventory level kept at optimal level.

b) Work closely with Merchandise Department, particularly with the Category Managers in confirming the rangingof the SKUs for the category and determine positioning and space allocation for the SKUs in accordance to sales and profit generation.

c) Liaise with Project Department on update of the dimension of fixtures and store layout.d) Communicate and update store team members on the changes of planograms as and when applicable.

e) Visit stores to ensure planograms are updated and maintained on the shelves complete with shelf labels.f) Provide training on planograms, space management and category management to stores and Store SupportCentre team members.

g) Assist Merchandise Department to generate reports from Spaceman program and MMS system for sales reviewof category and store.

h) Work closely with IT department to generate the necessary reports required to improve on decision makingprocesses at Merchandise and Operations Departments.

i) Undertake to merchandise new store and refurbished stores within the time frame indicated.j) Liaise with external sources of vendors and syndicated market research companies for market sales trend.

k) Develop program / macro on various reports.l) Liaise and coordinate with Store Development Team on transfer and order of stocks for new andrefurbish stores.

Requirementsi) Diploma or Degree holder in any fieldii) 1 to 2 years of experience but fresh graduates are encouraged to applyiii) Inclination to desk work and good with computer softwareiv) Strong organisational skills and ability to keep track of schedules and formatsv) Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and a good team playervi)Basic knowledge of MS Office software such as Excel and Word is necessaryvii) Able to work under pressure and tight timeline
