Responsibilities Manage and lead the team for tender processes from estimating quantity take-offs preparing BQ preparing and submitting of tenders quotations to following up closing of deals with prospective clientsWork closely with internal teams such as Design for design specification and Production Site Supervisors for project materials to understand and interpret the project scope for accurate cost estimationDevelop implement and monitor costing plan including cost-

value reconciliation to achieve accuracy of project estimations for labours production materials etc Actively compile and update references materials pricing costing and suppliers databases for QS team Make recommendation to the Directors on the margin that achieves desired profitabilityMonitor changes to designs and variations work to manage the costsImprove clients relationship by providing timely and accurate responses to their inquiries and represent company with professionalismEnsure the terms and conditions of project contracts are appropriate for the company with commercial risks identifiedEnsure the verification of variation orders progress claims by sub-

contractors and final account settlement based on agreed quotations are carried outEnsure all required information is updated in the companys systems for the purpose of clients billings by FinanceManage the overall function the department to ensure smooth execution and delivery Understand plan and distribute the overall workload accordinglyDevelop and streamline workflows SOP processes and or procedures to enhance speed service quality and output and achieve efficiencyResolve any complex issues arising from the departmental operationsMaintain strategic partnerships and relationships with relevant stakeholders i e contractors suppliers etc while ensure they are meeting the expectations such as budget quality and lead timeWhere appropriate participate in budget preparation expenditure scheduling and cost monitoring Produce monthly reporting for management and report on any non-

conformance issuesMaintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the departmentPlan for departmental goals and priorities that support the overall business goalsLead the team to meet the companys expectations for productivity quality and goal accomplishmentHire guide coach and develop subordinates through the process of onboarding performance evaluation training and career developmentEmpower subordinates to take responsibility for their jobs and promote continuous learnings as career developmentProvide effective performance feedback through employee recognition rewards and disciplinary action with the assistance of HR when necessaryEffectively communicate company information through departmental meetings one-
