Performing management and maintenance of UNIX user identities, profiles and access privileges (create, delete, modify) related to local and remote system access.
The work carried out will be based on approved request for service (RFS) submitted by internal users as well as external customers.
Troubleshooting access and security related incidents on the UNIX platform, including Linux, AIX, Solaris, SuSE Linux, etc.
Expert level knowledge of ID administration on UNIX servers â password, group, shadow files, checking of user access logs etc.
Provide specific levels of access support via permission granting for temporary and on-going periods.
Providing second level support to incidents, requests and enquiries assigned and escalated by AIGGS Helpdesk.
The security analyst will be tasked with ensuring service level agreements are met.
Provide assistance for re-certifications and cleaning up of IDs
Prepare ad-hoc reports as requested by SOX or Internal auditors and BUâs.
Investigate security alerts and perform security incident reporting
Provide vaulting of privileged accounts in TPAM / CA PAM and associated support.
Decommissioning of security tools from retired servers.
Provide DR exercise support.
Attending telephone calls, web meetings as needed.
Provide housekeeping assistance for inactive IDs, temporary IDs and tickets etc.
Follow documented procedures while handling tickets.
Planning and implementing any new security related project tools and or Customer processes to enhance the overall security infrastructure.
Must be able to work 7 x 24 shifts including all public holidays.
