Get to know the Role :
The role will sit within Grab Financial Group's Partnership & Business Development Team and report directly to Head of Partnership & Business Development,based in KL, Malaysia.
Get To Know The Role
The role acts as the Manager for FI / Scheme partnerships to develop, manage, drive and nurture key partnerships with key stakeholders of GrabPay.
Responsible to drive the company & goals achievement and expansion in terms of market share, merchant base, transaction volume and profitability in all the programmes within the partnerships’ scope.
The person has to be far-sighted and is able to unlock and drive potential collaboration opportunities between the company and its partners to drive successful partnerships.
The role should have strong understanding of payments industry which encompasses knowledge in technical, commercial, competitive, regulatory and standards to :
Align external stakeholders and internal teams on our deliverables scope, requirements and commercials that drive successful partnerships and collaborations;
Drive projects / initiatives / programmes deliverables to improve customer experiences in alignment with country OKRs;
Work with external stakeholders such as Regulators, FIs, Card Schemes and Vendors which are beneficial for managing all collaborations and programmes with internal teams;
Liaise and engage regulators and prominent payments industry players to create new opportunities to drive GrabPay acceptance.
Develop and manage end-to-end lifecycle of consumer products.
Develop and manage the country’s Co-Brand and other programme that is to be launched by Grab;
Develop and manage customer experience in all areas of the job scope;
Bachelor’s degree with a combination of education and experience in business administration, marketing, economies and / or international business.
Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including Payment industry with exposure of working with Regulators, Card Schemes, Vendors and / or Financial Institutions.
Natural flair of inter and intra-personal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and in Malay as an added advantage.
Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Superior client engagement, business development and communication skills with a strong network is crucial for the role.
Proven ability to manage internal, external resources and cross-functional relationships.
Ability to multitask, attention to detail and work under pressure to meet timeline.
Team player to drive OneGrab collaboration.
