A Marketing and Public Relations Executive plays an important role in assisting the Line Manager in achieving key objectives in line with the annual marketing and PR plan, current initiatives and relevant activities.

What will I be doing?
Responsiblefor the development of through-the-Line marketing and campaign plan with theobjective to drive MICE and Wedding revenue for Malaysia cluster of hotels, inconsultation with the National Marketing and Communications Department.
Work closely with regional marketing team to research,implement and drive destination MICE & Weddings
Assess business needs at property level and identify opportunitiesfor property specific or cluster level activity or promotion.
Prepare budget and submit costestimates for approval of marketing and campaign plan.
Responsible for timely submission of proposed promotionand offer mechanics via Campaign Origination & Request Engine (CORE)platform for Asia Pacific Marketing and hotels
Responsible for marketingstrategy and plans to be effectively delivered within an agreed timeframe,within budget and with measurable ROI on all promotions and marketingactivities.
Proactively source foronline and traditional advertising / media, sponsorship opportunities to promoteMICE and Weddings.
Responsibilityfor execution of marketing and campaign plan includes :
Overseesthe production of marketing content / assets which are project managed byMarketing Services. Through-the-line Marketing content / assets includenewsletter, eDM, posters, videos, photoshoot, DVDs, website updates etc.
Preparationand delivery of clear project / campaign brief to Marketing Services.
Establishfrequent communication with Marketing Services for clarity on projectdeliverables, status, issues and risks.
Workwith Regional Marketing and Legal to ensure all promotions / offers are clearlycommunicated to customers and ensure that developed Terms and Conditions aretranslated as required.
Reviewand provide approval of content and assets developed by Content Team (Malaysia)and external agencies in a timely manner.
Preparereports and present to stakeholders on promotion / campaign results to determinecost effectiveness of promotion campaigns.
Organiseand attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
Responsiblefor conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires andfocus groups; and monitoring competitor activity.
Supportthe wider Advertising and Promotion Team as required.
Participation as ateam player within / inter departments.
Positive attitudeand good communication skills.
Willingnessto pick up new skills is a must.
