As Director, Price Management at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions APAC, your mission will be to ensure that ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions APAC captures all provided value to its customers and business partners throughout all commercial and product development phases.

You will be in charge of successful implementation of our price management processes, setting rules, work principles and routines, design and deployment of pricing tools, monitoring our pricing performance through established and agreed upon KPIs - all that in collaboration with our business entities and the other global functions.

You will report directly to the VP, Commercial Excellence APAC and be based in our current offices in Malaysia.


You will aim to develop / enhance and implement necessary processes, tools, KPIs, models and routines to secure strong and sustainable price optimization across the entire company.

You will align with the wider ASSA ABLOY Group and other Divisions to share best practices and to assure best possible coordination of our plans and actions.

You will be responsible for the overall Divisional price-related goal setting

You will be responsible for overall pricing system architecture (systems, tools, interfaces)

You will provide price performance analysis and provide business recommendations

You will be responsible for setting up and agreeing with Business Areas for cross-BA pricing principles

You will be responsible for designing and rolling out price management related trainings and workshops.

You will be responsible for compliance trainings and awareness.


We see you as both seasoned manager and subject matter expert in the field of planning and executing price optimizing strategies in complex and diversified enterprises.

You need to be a business-oriented and communicative leader with interpersonal and cross-cultural skills.

You know that in order to reach the overall objectives you will need to analyze, plan, communicate, follow up and through as well as give constructive feedback and be flexible in making swift corrections in order to meet all agreed overall business objectives.


To succeed in this role, you will need to have minimum 3 years of experience and good track record working within Price Management, in preferably technology sector.

At least 10 years of professional work experience

At least 4 years of team management experience

You need to have excellent analytical skills supported and strategic, forward thinking as well as excellent process management.

We expect you to have experience in working in complex matrix organizations in an international environment.

Good communication skills, attention to details, good planning skills and consistency are equally essential to succeed in this role.

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or engineering preferred. Master's degree preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered.


Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.

Other language(s) are an asset


Experienced and advanced in working in Oracle ERP or similar.

Proficient in Oracle CPQ or equivalent.

CRM ( or equivalent) and BI-tool reporting systems

You build your credibility working close to customers, Business Leadership, sales organization, and product management teams on a daily basis.

You know that in order to reach the overall objectives you will need to both analyze, plan, communicate, follow up and through, give constructive feedback and be flexible in making swift corrections in order to meet all agreed business objectives.

Close collaboration with Business Areas when it comes to both planning and execution is key to our long-term success. You need to know how to work with and through complex matrix organizations.

The job will require frequent traveling, especially in its first phase (ultimately up to 30% of the time)
