Warehouse Specialist

Responsible for timely and accurate issuance, processing and management of spare part orders as well as all other assigned warehouse duties.

These duties will include inventory, receiving, locating, picking, packaging and shipping of the items as well as the processing of all transactions into several internal and external business systems.

What you’ll be doing :

Responsible for the operation of a company warehouse :

  • Performs data entry of all inventory transactions, including receipt, shipments, stock adjustments and transfers. Documents reasons for adjustments and works with supervisor and Finance for approvals for adjustments.
  • Process FE inventory adjustments
  • Performs weekly cycle counts, periodic and yearly parts inventories. Responsible for maintaining and validating inventory accuracy.
  • Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouse.
  • Ships and receives product, unloads trucks, checks in merchandise, matches purchase orders to sales orders.
  • Reads purchase and return authorization orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be located, picked, and / or shipped.
  • Sorts and places items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as : size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Marks materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
  • Daily shipping using FedEx pc-based system; prepares such parcels for mailing.
  • Works with Finance, Purchasing, and Field Engineers as necessary to resolve issues
  • Ability to handle all warehouse tasks, including, but not limited to : business systems, shipping systems and all physical shipping and receiving processes.
  • What we’re looking for :

    Five years or more related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Typing skills are essential to prepare and process forms (i.e., credit memos, bar codes, drop shipments, airway bills);
  • hands-on pc experience, preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to correspond with customer requests and shipping schedules
  • Reliable for maintaining a high level of concentration while handling multiple requests at the same time to ensure accuracy.
  • A detail-oriented, team
  • A good attendance record and commitment to work.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, is required to stand; walk; kneel, crouch and stoop.
  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
  • The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to twenty (20) pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to seventy-five (75) pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than one hundred (100) pounds.
  • Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent
