The System Quality and Reliability QNR team owns the execution of stress test procedures supporting qualification on products spanning the Intel roadmap and Atom processors as well as their related chipsets and memory components.
Responsibilities for this role will include system bring up as well as execution support and troubleshooting on platforms across the aforementioned segments requiring :
Understanding the various components of a platform from a hardware, firmware, and software perspective to ensure correct deployment of required configurations.
Deployment of automation scripts to support the execution of various types of experiments.
First level debugging and troubleshooting of platform issues.
Cross-site and cross-geo collaboration with the team to identify and deploy solutions to roadblocks encountered.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in System Level Debug stemming from thorough understanding of platform hardware and firmware.
Strong fundamental understanding of Computer Architecture and modern CPU components.
Experience working with various Operating Systems used in platform validation including Windows and variants of Linux RedHat / CentOS, Ubuntu, SLES, Fedora
Experience in analyzing platform schematic and board files
Ability to rework boards based on pre-defined recipes.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in ITP, OpenIPC, PVT, PythonSV or other platform debug software
Experience in one or more high-level Perl, Python, C, VB, Java programming language.
Experience with version control systems Git, SVN
