Position Details :

This job is responsible / accountable for :

  • Leading and managing the engagement with the business units of a CSG customer
  • Working closely with internal teams (CDE, PD, CBU)
  • Recommending technical and functional business best practices and solutions
  • Executing and managing at least a few practice offerings (business process mapping and optimization, business impact assessment, business readiness, organizational change management, business and system migration, etc)
  • Being responsible for the delivery of several components of complex business change programs within the set costs budgets
  • Incorporates industry best practices, conducts internal and external benchmarking, and establishes standards, key measures, and metrics.
  • Serves as a customer advocate, responsible for conflict resolution and prioritization of activities
  • Acting as a key liaison between the customer business units, and the delivery team to ensure alignment of business objectives with governed priorities.
  • Essential Job Functions

    Primary responsibilities of the job and the percentage of time spent on each to total 100 %. Reflect the level autonomy, decision-making authority, breadth and level of work / accountability within the responsibility descriptions.)

    Responsibility

    Business Processes Mapping and Optimization : To map the customer business processes to the TM Forum eTOM standards, optimize them at times and modify them to impact our solution design while respecting the standards.

    Business Impact Assessment : Identify all business impacts to all customer business units that our project would generate and advise the customer accordingly.

    Business Readiness : Manage the customer readiness to implement and go-live with CSG solutions. Monitor on daily basis the progress of that readiness and advise the customer based on best practices on being ready for go-live.

    Organizational Change Management : During our Digital Transformation projects, the customer is often confronted with changing their organization.

    This role will advise and guide the customer through their organizational change management.

    Business and System Migration : For certain projects, this position may need to build a Business and System Migration strategy and see to its execution and successful completion.

    Benefits Realization Management : This position will be engaged in determining and computing the benefits the customer realized by implementing and using our solutions and services.

    Communication and Problem Solving : this role is the link between our technical delivery team and the business units of our customers.

    This role is frequently engaged to act as an honest broker between the customer and CSG in conflict.

    Regular and reliable attendance is required.

    This job requires domestic and / or international travel up to 75%.

    Internal High degree of autonomy. This role will manage strategic programs with high-impact issues that may not be well understood, communicated, scoped, or resourced in the initial phases of the effort.

    This role will bring structure to chaos and must have the ability to influence through regularly interacting with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, organizations, and / or customers.

    Program status and reporting along with any unfavorable results in budget, timeline, or solutions will be summarized and / or escalated to senior management by this position.

    External High Degree of autonomy. Similar to the interactions and level of engagement internally, the external client could also be involved with the program delivery.

    This role will partner with customer facing teams in defining execution strategies and manage issues / risks associated with the overall Program.

    Billable activities will require alignment of customer facing teams, Product Management, and Legal resources / processes to be managed regarding business proposals and SOW / Contract Amendments to complete the work.

    This role will interact with various client resource levels, including SVP.

  • Cube or Office environment on CSG or Customer’s premises
  • Education

    Education, training and / or certifications typically required to successfully perform the job.)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Knowledge in Prime System Integration methodologies desired.
  • Experience

    Minimum level of related experience typically required to successfully perform the job and preferred experience that is also beneficial to have in this job.)

  • 8-10 years of consulting experience within the Telecom and / or TV sector.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple consulting assignment in the Telco / IT / TV industry
  • Domain and practice expertise in Business Processes (eTOM)
  • Solid customer facing experience at the leadership level
  • Proficient with tools to measure and perform metrics development, reporting, and analysis.

  • Knowledge / experience of BSS, ERP applications

  • Strong BSS (Billing Support System) background and experience.
  • Virtual and remote teaming ability.
  • Flexible and responsive to input.
  • Strong planning / organization & time management skills.
  • Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Telecom and TV industries.
  • Strong understanding of finance, time value of money, financial instruments,
  • Ability to write and understand contractual language
  • Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
