Job Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive services in the form of accurate assessment including accurate diagnosis of patients’ conditions and medical histories and appropriate treatment / management including manual adjustments and other therapeutic modalities, and thorough documentation so that customers’ needs are being met.
  • Keeping up-to-date knowledge or take active part in Continuous Professional Development to upgrade knowledge and, where possible, take part in research activities that contribute to evidence based practice so that patient will get the best standard of care.
  • Assist in the daily supervision of Chiropractic Assistants so that they can perform under the set standard during the delivery of service to customers to ensure customers’ needs are constantly and accurately met.
  • Assist in the supervision of Junior and Resident Chiropractors through involvement in clinical and administrative meetings / discussions to ensure high standard of services are provided to customers.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and policies and maintaining effective interdepartmental relationship to ensure continuous improvement of service delivery.
  • Ensure proper charges of services delivered to patients so that forecasted revenue of ICC and IMUH is met.
  • Assist in the maintenance of equipment and supplies by ensuring that daily and periodic calibrations are carried out, down-
  • time of faulty equipment is minimal, proper maintenance record are kept and supplies are ordered to avoid interruption of services and / or inaccurate assessment.

  • Assist in conducting proper analysis and report on equipment to be purchased by keeping up-to-date with the latest technology, analyzing the technology and after-
  • sales service so that accurate decision making can be made on the equipment to be purchased.

  • Assist in ensuring operations are conducted in cost-effective or within budget to ensure achievement of forecast revenue and profit for the ICC without compromising on quality of service offered.
  • Contribute ideas in business development and other activities related to expansion of business and new infrastructure including marketing of new services so as to ensure constant growth of ICC.
  • Take part in the provision of in-service education to public and professionals to ensure increase of awareness on chiropractic.
  • Take part in the IMUH promotional activities to ensure chiropractic services are properly marketed.
  • Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chiropractic from a recognized University with at least 3 year working experience in clinical area.
  • A member of Association of Chiropractor Malaysia and / or other relevant / recognized Associations.
  • Knowledgeable and clinically competent in Chiropractic assessment and treatment.
  • Good communication skills.
