The role collaborates closely with the company headquarters (represented by the Managing Director Asia). You will collaborate closely with the Zone Managing Director for Asia to create and deploy the market approach and strategy.
Key internal and external relationships :
Senior Management Team
Responsible for collaborating & leading 8 members - Corporate Sales, SMB sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, IS-QSS, HR, Finance.
You are also expected to maintain and develop our company values and lead by example. To help enhance and build an empowering and positive company culture.
Reports on a very regular basis to the Managing Director Asia for the presentation of the results, action plans and approbation of budget and projects to be implemented.
Propose and respect company budget and operational objectives, and monitoring performance against established objectives.
Regular contacts with the COO team and the Asia Support team for support and optimization of the effectiveness of the Malaysia operations.
Customers : supporting the sales teams with major customers to either win new contracts or provide a wider picture of the company.
Understand customer journey and ensure best-in-class customer experience for both Malaysia and Singapore customers.
Suppliers : supporting the Marketing team with major customers to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the company’s suppliers.
National authorities : the official representative of the company with the national authorities.
Recruitment and coaching the Senior Management Team members, through effective talent management initiatives and approaches.
The Managing Director is expected to be surrounded by a very strong, stable and solid team.
You will be involved with the Management of talent programs for key team and wider business, whilst ensuring the operational structure is optimized to be in line with the strategy.
