Main objectives

This position will be responsible for the technical delivery of the Global WAN as well as being a strong technical point of contact for the Transnational entities in AXA


  • Technical support and delivery of the AXA Global WANs
  • Operational level 3 support for Global WANs
  • Change and project support for Global WANs
  • Ensure project designs are delivered meet the regional and global standards
  • Ensure operational delivery by third parties meets technical requirement and standards
  • Work with AXA Tech Regions and Transnational entities to deliver new, and transform existing services
  • Work alongside CTO Network teams to ensure architectural governance is adhered to
  • Work with Service Delivery Manager to ensure the service is operating to the agreed SLAs
  • Technical skills

  • 8+years in a strong technical role in Networks
  • Excellentproven technical experience of working in a WAN environment including design,implementation and operations of :
  • Large global backbone networks
  • WAN technologies including MPLS,SDN, VRFs etc
  • WAN optimisation
  • Dynamic routing and redistribution
  • DMVPN Phase 3
  • QoS Marking / Shaping
  • NXOS / IOS XE basics
  • SD-WAN / IWAN basics
  • Soft skills

  • Excellent troubleshooting andanalysis skills
  • Understandingand development of business as usual and housekeeping standards
  • Experienceof Network operations in a large Corporate environment
  • Strong experience of project delivery fornetworks in a global environment
