Basic Job Functions :

In alignment with First Solar’s Vision, Mission, and Culture, the Master Data Management team develops and delivers Global Supply Chain Data strategies.

Data under team management currently includes SAP Business Partner, Material, and other Master Data objects. Specialist Master Data Managementsupports Master Data Management’s and First Solar’s scalabilitygoals by following, challenging, and improving upon established processes and procedures.

Experience :

Transactional execution within ERP system; SAP preferred

Data maintenance within SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) tools preferred

Working in a matrix environment utilizingrelationship-building to achieve results

Operating in international organizations; across multiple time zones

Data gathering, cleansing, and analytics

Education :

Bachelor's degree in a Business, Technology, or Analytics field

Required Skills / Competencies :

Adaptable and receptive to new ideas, processes, tools, and ways of working

Interest in and aptitude for operating in new software programs and operating systems

Proficiently use Microsoft Office Suite; O365 or G Suite online collaboration tools preferred

Strong ability to use Excel pivot tables and various other functions preferred

Knowledge of SAP and / or other ERP systems

Essential Responsibilities :

Create and maintain master data records within SAP S / 4HANA and via SAP MDG and other data management tools

Contribute to developing, monitoring, and enforcing data management policies and procedures

Assist in developing, normalizing, and maintaining data standards and definitions

Analyze assigned datasets for quality, completeness, and accuracy

Define and drive actions required to bring assigned datasets up to defined standards

Provide support for metrics and reporting processes

Lead meetings and collaborate on data-related issues and process improvement opportunities

Engage in businesstransformation initiatives, ensuring relevant Master Data Management ideals are employed

Interface with functional stakeholders (including Purchasing, IT, Accounting, and others) to ensure alignment between stakeholder and Data Management goals.

Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards

Perform other duties as assigned

Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)

All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
