Role and Responsibilities
The Business Partners are fundamental to CAE’s Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) organization and have managerial responsibilities, a solution-
oriented mindset and responsible for connecting people both horizontally and vertically across the organization.
As a Procurement Business Partner (PBP), you will be responsible for facilitating all operational supplier issues between key internal clients (E.
g. Training Centers) and the CAE Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) departments (Data, Parts & Equipment, Core, Indirect and the associated purchasing functions).
Additionally they will help lead major sourcing initiatives for the region. The PBP will work closely with our internal customers to define and drive procurement strategies to reduce cost YOY while ensuring perfect execution and risks mitigation.
In addition, the PBP shall also be the point of escalation for business channels and ensure any supplier challenges (support of KPIs such as on-
time delivery or adherence to scope of work targets) are in line with the customers expectations.
The PBP will be actively engaged in cross functional business process improvement / continuous improvement initiatives and liaises with the project teams to clearly communicate sourcing constraints, supply risks & mitigation strategies as they relate to the project.
The PBP is also solution mindset oriented and will develop tools & processes to ensure flawless execution. The PBP can be based in either Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia or Clark, Philippines
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Confirm that the supplier issue is well documented and if this requires an amendment to the contract, the PBP gathers all necessary requirements and shares findings with CVMs.
Lead and define a governance around Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) on top issues.
