Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
To be the technical lead under Digital CoE in Maxis, specializes in mobile platform, mobile apps development, platform integration, drive solution & bridging technical gaps based on business requirements.
To work closely with Digital Value Chain (dVc) & Digital CoE team who are responsible for the Digital architecture, solution, framework, UX design, development standards and to enforce industry best practices and tools, developing our next generation of Digital Experience.
What are you accountable for?
Strongly involved in entire life-cycle and participate in agile scrum delivery process, working closely with stakeholders and developers as well as project team
Subject Matter Expert in Mobile App development & platform integration
Ensure quality of deliverables, adhere to business architecture, data / information architecture, application architecture and technology architecture, security compliance of the systems based on technology trends and standards
Drive adoption of Agile DevOps framework like Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, etc. to improve quality and reliability of team’s deliverable
To lead through handling of pre and post-production issues related to applications and platforms
Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity while supporting business units in new product and service initiatives.
Assist in technical / impact assessment of requirements to assess technical feasibility, and impacts to digital online platforms, jointly derive an acceptable solution together with stakeholders and architects.
What do you need to have to fit this role?
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any related course
Total working experience of 4-8 years
Relevant experience of 2-3 years
Experience in driving solution for mobile applications
Strong acumen of inter platform integration, cloud, network and security
Experience with native iOS, Android as well as hybrid apps
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services such as AWS
Experience in high volume, self-service mobile apps
Experienced in system process flow, SDLC, design + documentation, Agile-Scrum delivery methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High initiative, ability to multi-task and a team player
Background in Telco will be an added advantage.
