    Reporting to the Group Key Account Manager, the Assistant Key Account Manager is responsible for delivering the Volume, Revenue, and Distribution, Visibility and Pricing / Promotion targets for the designated accounts being handled

    The Assistant Key Account Manager will need to work with his team member to work towards achieving the targets and defines key strategies to deliver these goals while ensuring alignment with functional and corporate objectives.

    He is responsible for enabling his team member to execute his strategies and deliver the results.

  • Some of the key accountabilities for this role will include (but are not limited to) Volume, Revenue, NR :
  • Primary jobs include sales promotion planning, implementation & analysis, demand forecast, business reviews, customer growth strategy sell-in and execution, trading terms negotiation and in-store execution
  • Develop, negotiate and sign off trading term with customer
  • Maintains relationship with Key Accounts at HQ and store level
  • Collects market information by carrying out regular market visit
  • Achieve sales targets set by the Company
  • Plan, executes and coordinates promotions with inter department teams
  • Builds Key Account’s database and analysis
  • Prepare monthly / quarterly / yearly business review with customer.
  • Responsible for developing Customer Business Plan to achieve annual sales and profitability targets
  • Lead category projects
  • Negotiate on product launches, pricing strategy, space management and both national and local promotional activities.
  • Work closely with sales operation to achieve daily sales targets
  • Qualifications

    Education, Knowledge, Experience

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the field of Business / Marketing / Sales
  • Preferably with 3-5 years' exposure in Key Account Management and minimum 2 years related experience in the FMCG industry with proven track record
  • Understand and able to apply shopper’s insight and category management to win in point-of-purchase and optimizing promotion sell-out
  • Experience in customer service excellence, sales operation effectiveness, and promotion planning & negotiation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent inter department team player and the ability to influence others
  • Good analytical skills and intermediate knowledge in Excel preferred
