Team Lead AP Report & Reconciliation

Function : Finance

Career Level : Experienced professionals (2-5 years)

  • Supervise and monitoring the team’s delivery of services and ensuring deliver quality in terms of completeness, accuracy and timeliness on a daily basis.
  • Oversee all the activities undertaken by the AP team, provide expert knowledge and hands on support where required.
  • To effectively manage the team’s workload and resources so as to ensure consistent and efficient delivery of core services.
  • Cultivate a high level of teamwork, encourage and support his / her team members to ensure that they take responsibility for their own performance;
  • provide timely guidance and coaching to team members when addressing any performance issues.

  • Adhere to Evonik procedure and internal guidelines. Ensure team’s compliance to internal controls and keep proper evidence & required documentation to meet internal / external audit standards.
  • Identify, recommend and develop solutions or improvement ideas for continuous improvements and harmonization opportunities.
  • Supporting local services in terms of internal and external audit.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationship with Local Services and CoE.
  • Participate in recruitment process in identifying the right candidates for the team.
  • Support project rollout plan eg participate in migration task / planning, monitor testing progress, ensure documentation update, etc
  • Monitor individual team’s performance and support team members development plan
  • Support job rotation and backup plan among team leads level within same team / cross team

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting or equivalent with at least 5 years relevant working experience.
  • Min. 2-3 years of supervisory experience specialist in Accounts Payable.
  • Have experience in managing team size more than 5 headcounts.
  • Working experience in SSC environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in both written and speaking.
  • Able to build, lead, influence and motivate a team.
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written in English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate and competent in Microsoft office, preferably have strong experience in SAP system.
