To manage the inventory levels and structures based on existing capacity and space limitations. To monitor and execute all Repair & Maintenance related activities at Continental's warehouses in Malaysia

Roles and Responsibilities include :

Inventory and Stock Count

  • Execute capacity planning for the warehouse-space and create appropriate contingency action plan in the event of an over stock situation is estimated.
  • Escalate if space-limitations are estimated

  • Set-up regular communication structure with relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment on est. stock-levels
  • Improve utilization of available warehouse-space by structured process analysis and execution of identified tasks
  • Improve stock-structure by execution of effective measures as and when needed
  • Maintain proper stock management (out of yield, downgrade, slow mowers, blocked inventories, small quantities, etc) and find effective measures to keep utilization of the warehouse on the highest possible level
  • Provide all relevant data for Warehouse-Service-Provider to execute regular A / B / C-Analysis
  • Label-Inventory-Management and all related communications and alignment
  • Create concepts to improve space utilization in warehouses based on stock-structure, customer- and process-needs
  • Organize, involve and reconcile annual stock count, and submit verified signed documents to Finance.
  • Update daily stock positions and enforce weekly cycle count
  • Warehouse processes & operations and Facility & KSP- Management

  • Execute regular meetings stakeholders to agree timeline and actions for blocked stocks and track on progress
  • Execute all downgrading and scrapping processes and track and progress
  • Execute all warehousing related return management tasks
  • Ensure proper documentation of all inventory related processes in Continental Quality Management Directives (POMS)
  • To manage and clean and stock differences in between SAP P52 and SAP EWM
  • Execute all necessary and approved Warehouse-Maintenance and Repair-tasks as and when needed
  • Execute OBC related activities (in coordination with Plant-Operations-Team AS and Plant PJ Engineering)
  • Execute all necessary and approved KSP-Maintenance-, Repair and -Purchasing-Tasks as and when needed
  • Maintain a list of approved "Special Service Request" and rates of payment for Cost-Tracking (Service Sheets)
  • Check and approve all related invoices
  • Execute other warehousing related processes as and when needed
  • Key Performance Indicators & Reporting

  • Initiate and execute optimisation measures for inventories (KPI's), e.g. Stock-Accuracy, Zero-Pick, Utilization-Rates, etc
  • Execute inventory-relevant reporting (e.g. OoY, Blocked-Stocks, Slow-Mover, Minor-Qty, etc) to all relevant stakeholders and define concrete measures in case deviations to the defined targets are identified
  • Execute Tracking on utilization and availability of KSP's to ensure operational performance of the warehouse
  • Send monthly stock report for bonded-warehouse to finance-department
  • Support projects in order to gain competitive advantage for Continental
  • Support or lead process-improvement actions to gain competitive advantage for Continental Qualifications Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, higher in Transport Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Preferred 3-5 years' working experience in warehouse / distribution logistics operations

    Experience or involvement in project management / execution an advantage

    Experience in multinational organization preferred

    Excellent oral and written communication skills
