We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to convince the best restaurants in Malaysia to join foodpanda based in Kelantan, Pahang, Penang, Sabah, Sarawak & Terengganu .

Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Business Development Managers and managing sales goals, accomplishments & strategies.

As the successful candidate, you will oversee sales in your assigned region and work to grow foodpanda’s partnerships with the best restaurants in Malaysia.

Candidate must possess innate leadership qualities, excel in maintaining client and vendor relationships, and have a true passion in motivating teams.

Responsibilities :

  • Drive compliance to a distinct sales process that Business Development Managers are required to follow
  • Initiate and innovate partner acquisition strategies
  • Announce, present and educate sales team of any new or upcoming projects / initiatives
  • Hold and direct sales meetings
  • Train new sales department hires in company processes and procedures
  • Manage and supervise Business Development Managers to ensure they are on track in achieving targets
  • Lead, motivate, acknowledge, and inspire your team to perform beyond expectations
  • Hold frequent performance reviews with staff to provide constructive feedback
  • Attend cross-functional meetings that will benefit the sales department
  • Represent the company in trade shows, conventions, government institutions or other external events when necessary.
  • Take ownership of strategic projects when needed
  • Requirements :

  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
  • 3 years or more of previous experience as a sales manager in a supervisory role, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense preferably
