About the job
For the Ecommerce team, we are looking for a proactive web designer who can help us securing the IKEA Brand, our overall vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people and optimising the customer journey online.
You’re responsible for the online (web) guidelines according to IKEA Brand and Tone of voice, and you’re actively coordinating any brand guideline changes with stakeholders if required.
You’re supporting the Ecommerce team with banner templates and new requests, guide the team on web guidelines and give trainings / workshops if required.
You’re proactively identifying and improving design for our websites to enhance the customer journey online, and you’re taking actively part of the ideation phase for new optimization initiatives.
You’re the speaking partner for UI / UX web design in the development process, working closely together with our Web Developers and Web Optimization Specialist to secure new solutions.
You’re continuously evaluating the customer behavior on our website, working actively with the customer experience journey.
This position is expecting to start in December 2019, based in Kuala Lumpur.
You have a genuine passion for Ecommerce and for doing what’s best for our customer.
You have experience in working with CMS, HTML and CSS. Also, you have knowledge of working with Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
You are able to engage receivers, combined with excellent communication and graphic skills.
You have a natural drive for web development, have strong web designer skills, and are able to prioritise and structure your own work.
