Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department
  • Lead and manage creative projects from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into creative strategies and directing the creative team in the production of advertising and marketing collateral as well as directing retail store visual merchandising to create the best experience for customers
  • Work with design team, internal customer, principals and Marketing team to come up with Regional Strategic Plan for Creative Design that will advance the company’s merchandising, business, marketing and branding objectives
  • Direct Executives and Assistants in all general Creative Design functions and lead regular design meetings
  • Assist Group Retail Operations to achieve greater store appeal
  • Highly aware of competitor best practices and able to leverage these ideas as needed
  • Proactively seek to improve overall deliverables and templates based on experience and knowledge of best practices
  • Ensure all design work are in accordance with Copyright regulation where applicable
  • Key Requirements :

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in visual merchandising, graphic design or equivalent
  • At least a minimum of 10 year’s visual merchandising leadership experience with brands, shopping mall or agency environment
  • Able to lead a team of Visual Merchandisers with focus on results
  • Fluent in spoken English
  • High proficiency in illustrator, InDesign, Power-point & Photoshop
  • Sensitive with numbers for numeric reporting
  • Meticulous and have an eye for details
  • Well organised and must be an excellent planner
  • Ability to cope under pressure and multiple deadlines
  • Must be flexible to work after hours if required
