1 ) Ensure the secure design, deployment and sustainment of wired / wireless communication networks (data, VoIP, VPN and wireless network hardware and systems) in order to provide maximum performance and availability
2 ) Investigate and resolve network and hardware matters of significance
3 ) Research, analyze, isolate and resolve errors
4 ) Assess and update older networks as needed and in accordance with specified Top Glove's plans, policies and life cycles.
5 ) Maintain and update engineering records of the network by following ITIL change management practices for documentation and tracking purposes.
6 ) Install and configure Local Area Network or Wireless Network electronics such as routers, switches, VPN's, IPS / IDS, wireless controllers, access points and network management servers to enhance performance.
7 ) Ability to gather, document, and present specific customer requirements in a methodical manner. 8 ) Develop and present Local Area and Wireless Network diagrams and drawings that meet customer requirements and documentation to assist in communicating current operational status of networks to the command.
9 ) Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time. Requirements 1 ) Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in IT, information systems or business-
related fields with a technology focus or equivalent from reputable universities. 2 ) At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in a similar role preferred, either in an end-
user service based IT environment or from the technology professional services industry. 3 ) Experience in large-scale network enterprise, preferable Cisco / HP experience.
4 ) Experience in security hardening networking devices. 5 ) Strong analytical and problem determination or resolution skills and experience.
6 ) Must be a team player that can work under pressure with exceptional written and oral communication skills.
