Currently our HR function is undergoing an exciting transformation. A major milestone on this journey is the establishment of our HR Shared Services team based in our state-

of-the-art facility in Kuala Lumpur. CBRE is seeking a HR Director to develop and implement the HR SSC operating model and be responsible for the Shared Services function including oversight for all processes, tools and metrics that optimize HR services and solutions.

This role will help to establish and refine operational efficiencies and centralize all transactional processing within Human Resources.

The HR Shared Services Director will partner with the Regional HR Leadership Team to understand strategic priorities and business needs ensuring service delivery capabilities and solutions are effectively and efficiently leveraged.

Some of the key responsibilities include :

  • Ensure HR Shared Services delivers desired benefits of consistency of responses, economies of scale, improved overall transactional task quality, better return on the technology investment, and the streamlining of HR costs.
  • Provide support & help the implementation of shared services function including the identification, hiring and training of appropriate team members;
  • refine and execute on project plan until fully operational in conjunction with Head of HR Operations.

  • Direct and sustain the continued development and implementation of efficient transaction processes, teams and support systems aligned to HR strategic goals
  • Act as a change agent to drive innovation and process improvements
  • Act as the point of contact for escalations ensuring service levels are met and / or exceeded and all operation metrics are trending in a positive direction
  • Evaluate, develop, implement and modify processes with governance across all internal stakeholders (Centers of Excellence, Regional HR Operations, HRIS, Reporting & Analytics
  • Ensure continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization
  • Manage resources and process flows to ensure HR inquiry tickets, Contact Center calls and HR related systems transactions and business processes are resolved or reassigned to appropriate expert resources based on priority level and defined service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Establish appropriate metrics and manage through use of data
  • Analyze breakdowns in process to ensure that lessons are learned.
  • Key Skills and Experience :

  • Experience in PeopleSoft or similar HRIS and a HR Case Management tool
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and demonstrated experience in maintaining data integrity
  • Ability to focus on detail / accuracy, demonstrate initiative & strong customer service to the business
  • Proven ability to communicate with influence and build strong relationships
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
  • 10-12 years Experienced leader with hands-on experience in Human Resources, HR Operations and / or Program Management or Shared Services
  • Prior experience leading an implementation and day-to-day management of a shared services team
  • Experience within a medium to large-sized organization with international operations
  • Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, including the ability to build effective internal and external relationships
  • Prior experience managing change / project initiative including knowledge of planning models and methodology, project management and change management experience
  • Experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and solution development in a cross-functional or matrix environment
