Job Summary

Provide support and commitment to the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager for the overall implementation of the assigned project.

Prepare and provide necessary briefings to the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with regards to the performance of the project in terms of schedule, quality, risk and cost.

  • Prepare and provide briefings to the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager with regards to all material matters relating to the administration of the project management services contract including change and variation management as well as Extension of Time;
  • Oversee, manage and lead the respective Resident Architect / Resident Engineers on the planning, implementation and successful completion of the respective discipline within the project.

    Formulate planning strategies and schedule programs for the respective discipline to meet the target dateline and cost.

    Plan, manage, monitor and control from construction stage to post construction stage to meet the approved quality, cost and time standards.

    Oversee and manage consultants and contractors.

    Assist in liaison with government authorities for speedy approval.

    Communicate project expectations to the Resident Architect / Resident Engineers.

    Assist the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager in the management and implementation of the project.

    Maintain close and effective liaison with Consultants and Contractors.

    Assist the Senior Project Manager / Project Manager in preparing Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) on non-conformances identified and ensure closure.

    Monitor and prepare project progress status report.

    Assist in the development and delivery of effective project controls and procedures.

    Assist in preparing and managing project changes, budgets, qualities and timelines, and ensure effective implementation of the internal change management processes.

    Assist in preparing monthly reports to Client, and attend to necessary project related reporting in meetings and events by the Client.

    Assist in preparing and managing professional fees control and reporting including cashflow management.

    Ensure that all internal procedures and controls, Ethics & Compliance as well as Health & Safety protocols are fully complied with.

    Minimum Requirements

    Minimum 5 years of experience in managing high-rise projects.

    Knowledge in CONQUAS / QLASSIC is an added advantage.

    Knowledge in Primavera programming is an added advantage.

    Must be proficient with the regulations of the local authority and other relevant compliances.

    Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

    Must be proficient in written and spoken English.

    Must be person of high integrity and good attitude.

    Good leadership and interpersonal skills in managing a team of site personnel, contractors and sub-contractors

    Preferred Qualifications

  • A recognized Degree in Architecture or Civil & Structural or Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
