Description Your new role In this role, you will be responsible for driving implementation and deployment of Global Standards to be aligned with local policies.
You will review and develop AML / CFT policies to ensure that the Financial Crime Compliance Risk framework, procedures and standards are in place to assist the business in determining the bank’s approach to the identification, mitigation and management of risks of money laundering activities.
Not only that, you will also assess the implementation of the approved policies through regular reporting and updates by Compliance Officer to ensure business activities are in compliance with applicable AML / CFT laws, rules, regulations and guidelines including international best practices.
What you'll need to succeed To qualify for this role, you must possess a recognized Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Banking or related disciplines and must have had at least 8 years of experience in AML and a total of 15 years in Banking industry.
It is also very important that you are well exposed to local regulatory requirements while at the same time have great communication skills and stakeholder management ability to ensure that you will be able to bridge between all parties effectively.
