Your Responsibilities :

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Planner to join our Global Manufacturing & Supply plant based in Ulu Klang.

This role will mainly be responsible for co-coordinating maintenance activities by liaising with Production, Logistics & Engineering teams to determine work schedules.

Ensuring that Engineering compliance and data is maintained in line with GMP & GSK site quality & safety standards.

The Role

  • Responsible for managing Engineering CMMS system in line with GMP, EHS and site standards. Driving strategic development of the CMMS system processes line with overall corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for Engineering Computerized Maintenance Management System
  • Responsible for engineering spare parts upkeep within the CMMS
  • Develop engineering planning function at the GSK KL site
  • Ensure that the CMMS system is aligned to the business process
  • Work with other sites & off site functions to support / develop the CMMS community of practice
  • Accountable for the CMS system hierarchy
  • Creating / owning site procedures for CMMS
  • Work with functional managers to maximize CMMS benefits
  • Responsible for reporting of KPI’s from CMMS
  • Ensure site CMMS PM systems meet GMP & GSK standards
  • Conduct internal audits as appropriate
  • Own & co-ordinate deviations generated by CMMS & Maintenance Life Plan reviews
  • Co-ordinate planned & corrective work activities into agreed long & short term schedules
  • Communicate plans to Engineering, Production, QA & Warehouse functions
  • Ensure maintenance compliance is maintained in line with GMP & EHS standards Actively seek to improve ways of working & utilize best practice
  • Ensure statutory inspections are scheduled & carried out on time
  • Ensure stores area is maintained to GMP standards and required spares kept at appropriate levels
  • Generate work packs for issue to trade teams to manage
  • Reconcile work orders to identify schedule adherence issues
  • Actively participate in shutdown planning
  • Highlight resource issues against schedule
  • Identify CMMS training needs as required
  • Attendance at key production planning meetings
  • Other assignment(s) as deemed necessary by Head of Department
  • Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experiences in manufacturing (Food and Pharma) industries.
  • Able to lead a team to maintain performance.
  • Strong planning ability, prior knowledge of computerized maintenance systems preferable
  • Knowledge in RCA.
  • Familiar with 6’s, lean management, FMEA methodology.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and lead a project within timeline.
  • Knowledge in people management.
  • Possess good leadership, organizing and analytical ability and must be able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Can work in a fast environment paced environment and work at flexible / tended working hours
